Riccione: la città a misura di turista

Riccione is a tourist-friendly city, also known as the "Green Pearl of the Adriatic." Its ancient origins date back to Roman times, as evidenced by the famous Agolanti Castle which is still visitable today. Riccione underwent a transformation when thermal facilities were promoted to offer the benefits of the thermal waters.

Later, the construction of elegant residences and the realization of the Bologna-Ancona railway line transformed Riccione from a small village on the Flaminia road to a seaside resort on the coast.

Since then, the city has become one of the most popular destinations for beach holidays and more.
